Podcasts have been a thing, but for whatever reason I’m just now jumping on the bandwagon. I feel like a lot of people want to listen, but there are just so many it’s hard to know where to begin. I really turned to podcasts when I was feeling very unmotivated and uninspired. I figured while I’m on the bus or working out, I could be listening to amazing, powerful people explain their career paths or what makes them want to get out of bed in the morning. Don’t get me wrong, I love my music, but like I said, I was feeling unmotivated, so I figured why not learn something new or gain a new perspective on something. Podcasts are great not only to learn new things, but are a new form of entertainment I didn’t know I needed. I’ve listed some of my favorite podcasts down below, I hope you find something that inspires you.
Enjoy xx

MyDomaine – Second Life Hosted by Hillary Kerr, co-founder and chief innovation officer at MyDomaine’s parent company, Clique Brands. Each episode brings on power house women who are making their dreams a reality. They explain how they got to where they are today and all of the triumphs and struggles in between. They’ve had Lauren Conrad, Marianna Hewitt and Mandy Moore on their show, along with the founders of successful companies such as DryBar, Create & Cultivate and Poshmark and many more. This is definitely one of my most favorite podcasts.
Make it Happen This podcast is hosted by Jen Carrington, who is a creative coach, she helps people build fulfilling, purposeful and sustainable creative lives. Make it Happen talks a lot of business, side hustles, being an entrepreneur, making things happen on your own terms, etc. There are so many seasons, so it’s a bit overwhelming, but the titles are pretty descriptive so if you’re stuck in a creative rut or need some business advice, this podcast is for you.
Millennial This is a podcast on “maneuvering your 20s” hosted by Megan Tan. Megan takes you through life post grad and different issues and problems that she faces. One of my favorite things about this podcast is that she is so relatable. Sometimes when you hear CEO’s and founders and go getter type women, it can be inspiring, but it can also be intimidating. Megan narrates her life through these episodes and it definitely keeps you engaged. 10/10 would recommend 😉
Bad with Money
Youtuber, Gaby Dunn, takes you on a whirlwind of her mostly bad experiences with money. She admits that 99% of the time she has no idea what she’s doing and it is sort of refreshing. She brings different people on the show for advice on financial topics and honestly, if it were anyone else, it would be very, very boring. Gaby, however, is fairly entertaining for otherwise, dry topics.
2 Dope Queens
Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams are two hilarious best friends that talk about a plethora of topics on the show like relationships, love, pop culture, race, life in New York, etc. This podcast is more for entertainment purposes, but it’s still one of my favorites. If anyone is a fan of the Netflix series “Dear White People”, Phoebe and Jessica definitely give me Sam White vibes and I’m all about it.
